My professional interests include public and access services, digital scholarship, social science librarianship, and scholarly communication. I am interested in expanding access to information for the academic community and the public at large, as well as in exploring emerging strategies for delivering information and services to users.
My background includes graduate study in the social sciences at the University of Chicago, work as a community organizer, and experience managing a job training program. I am also a graduate of the Library & Information Science program at Simmons College. Working in an academic library affords me the opportunity to combine my experience as a manager with my academic and professional interests while at the same time supporting the research and teaching mission of a world-class university.
